Sabin
I have been a massage therapist since 2002 and have spent the majority of that time learning all that I could about how massage and bodywork can alleviate chronic pain and assist in providing long lasting effects or eradicating symptoms completely.
I thrived in classes that involved pain management as a goal such as trigger point therapy and injury rehabilitation massage.

I even took the initiative to participate in an Anatomy dissection class at Brigham Young University so that I could really have a deep comprehension of the human body, how it works, and specifically how the muscles, connective tissues, and bones interact and affect one another. Because I'm a visual learner this only enhanced my ability to really "see" while I give massages and know how to find tension with therapeutic touch, then release it.
"My anatomy background coupled with a therapeutic intent allows for your body to really guide me in what it requires to feel balanced and whole again."
Continued Education
I've done quite a bit of continuing education since graduating from massage school which includes, Positional Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Injury Rehabilitation massage, Myofascial Release, Thai Massage, Reflexology, and Cranio Sacral Therapy (CST). I've completed all the CST training through the Upledger Institute including Cranio Sacral Therapy, Somato-Emotional Release and specific brain and spinal cord injury. My greatest continuing education has been the combined 10 years of teaching at a massage therapy school. Teaching is really the best way to learn. I've also worked in spas, chiropractic settings, but have spent the majority of my years in private practice which includes my current home-based business.
Why Me?
Why me? My mission is that you will receive a massage that is custom-made for your needs. This is accomplished when you and I discuss the information you have provided on the intake form, talk about your specific goals, then I work to accomplish that goal with the variety of techniques and experience I have gained. Each massage will not be identical as your body's needs can change from day to day. But it's important for you to tell me what you like to have done in a massage and if there is anything you don't like. With all of this in mind a custom session is the result and you will hopefully walk away excited about the results and eager for more.
What I've Learned
Here is a list of things I have learned clients don't want from their massage sessions.
1. They don't want lotion just rubbed on.
2. They don't want a therapist to almost hit the right spot or almost get to the root of the problem.
3. They don't want a therapist who treats them like a number and gives a cookie cutter massage.
Here is what clients DO want:
1. They do want pressure to be deep enough.
2. The do want the massage to feel good and at times "hurts so good".
3. They do want a therapist who sounds educated and has the hands-on work to back it up.
4. They do want a therapist who is intuitive and can listen to the body.
